Our Partners
Introduction
WRCanada partners with many Christian non-government organizations (NGOs) in Africa and Asia who help implement our programs. To learn more about those partnerships please visit the "Our Work" page.
WRCanada also has a number of other partnerships within Canada and internationally. We have relationships with a number of evangelical denominations across Canada and are members of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) and the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC).
An officially recognized charity, WRCanada receives matching grants for most projects from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). These grants range from a ratio of 2:1 (CIDA provides $2 for every $1 raised by WRCanada) to 4:1 depending on the project.
WRCanada is a member of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB), a federally-incorporated Christian non-profit corporation which collects and distributes donations of grain and other agricultural commodities through a centralized foodgrains banking system for Christian church groups. Most grain donations made to CFGB are matched 4:1 by CIDA. -
