Imagine the possibilities if every member of every congregation in Canada made a small change towards ending hunger;
both spiritual and physical hunger. Many churches across the country will join together this spring in an ecumenical day of fasting and reflecting on how we are all connected.

As Christians we are united by our belief that hunger in a world of such abundance is a matter of injustice, and we are called
to respond in prayer and action.  In a world where the climate is changing, unfair trade policies exist alongside over-consumption, and more than 850 million people are chronically malnourished; we as Canadian Christians have the power to change the statistics, change the rules, and change lives. We hope to encourage you, as you deepen your spiritual walk and reverence for food as a gift from God, and connector of us all.

A personal reflection guide features 7 days of soul food, leading participants toward deeper commitment to the issues. The
activities and materials are creative and flexible, appropriate for congregational worship services, youth and adult groups,
classrooms and the workplace.
