Our Work
Agricultural Development Overview
Food is a necessity of life, however many subsistence farmers struggle to meet the daily food requirements of their families. Land and farming inputs are scarce and rains undependable, leaving these farmers quite vulnerable and with few resources to rely upon.
WRCanada focuses on providing measures for people to produce enough food to sustain their families and communities. This objective is achieved through increased food production, increased irrigation, crop diversification and animal husbandry. Partners provide training in water management, composting, tree cultivation, and soil conservation.Resources
